A sustainable approach is a central theme in all sectors of society.
The Congress Center Essen takes responsibility: We treat environmental, social and economic considerations on an equal footing and define ourselves on the premise of sustainable organisation. Because sustainable economic activity is one of our guiding principles, we associated ourselves with the “fair obligation” code in November 2012. This industry code was initiated by the European Association of Event Centres (Reg. Assoc.) and the German Convention Bureau and provides practical guidance to supporters for living up to their corporate responsibility.
The Congress Center Essen takes responsibility: we treat ecological, social and economic aspects equally and declare sustainable organising to be a premise. Because sustainable management is one of our guiding principles, we have signed up to the "fairpflichtet" code. This industry code was initiated by the European Association of Event Centres e.V. and the German Convention Bureau and provides supporters with practical guidance on how to live up to their corporate responsibility.
